Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie

Ingredient List:
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- teaspoon salt
- teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 cup or 1/2-inch pieces of Rhubarb
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- Pastry for a two-crust, 9-inch pie
- teaspoon butter
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, salt, and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl. Add fruit and mix well. Let stand for about 20 minutes. Spoon into 9-ich pastry-lined pie plate. Dot with butter. Moisten edge, apply and adjust the top crust, and then crimp / flute the edge.
Bake in preheated oven at 400ºF for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done. Serve slightly warm with a generous scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream.
